Woke early and had breakfast as we wanted to be down on the beach by 7.45 am to see the dolphins being fed. Got some great photos - they are really lovely. After that we went on the walk up to the bird hide and down onto the beach back to the jetty - about an hour. We then had our free coffee at the restaurant which they promised because our meals took too long last night. Good coffee! We then came back to camp to prepare for our yacht cruise later - 12.30 pm. Gerry just got all excited because Val Mondo is riding at Caulfield next Saturday - $80,000 race. Must be somewhere where we can watch this race. Very exciting! We took lunch and thermos on the yacht - Lane and Quinn were our skipper and deck hand - brothers. We had a lovely 3 hour cruise hopefully to see Dugong but we didn't - only saw dolphins and gannets and cormorants. When we arrived back at the jetty we looked back and you could see dolphins leaping out of the water going out to sea as far as the eye could see. Had an ice cream on the beach and then came back for showers. Finished off some postcards and will now prepare dinner - lamb chops and veg. Weather today has been cool- 21degrees and overcast so we had to take warm clothes on the boat.
