After packing up we left Carnarvon another sunny warm morning around 8.45 am. Travelled south towards the turnoff to Denham and Monkey Mia through hundreds of klms of wild flowers. They were beautiful and mostly yellow, white and pink. We stopped at The Overland Roadhouse for a cup of tea and on to Denham where we stopped again for lunch. A nice small town for fishing lovers and a close service to Monkey Mia. We travelled on to Monkey Mia seeming like such a long way to get to such a small place. We set up camp and organized a tour on a yacht tomorrow with a free one thrown in tonight. So at 4.30 pm we gathered at the jetty to board the "Shotover". We sailed for one and a half hours to watch the sunset tonight. We had booked in to the restaurant for dinner at 7.30 pm. So after the cruise we went back to camp for a scotch and then on to the restaurant for dinner - after a drink at camp. They lost our order somewhere and our meal was very late so they offered us some compensation - so Gerry opted for a coffee in the morning when we come to see the dolphins. Home after dinner for a reasonably early night.
