After breakfast we headed in to town to find the "mile long jetty" and paid our $4 to walk out to the end and back. We could have caught the train but opted to use this as our daily walk. There were people out the end mainly fishing off this massive jetty. We then took a drive out to Pelican Point and around the town and the outlet of the Gascoyne River. Back into town for a coffee and then out to the fruit and veggie farms that surround this town and river. Mangoes, bananas, tomatoes and grapes in abundance as well as a myriad of other fruit and veggies are evident. Made a visit to the camping shop to purchase some van level lets and then went out to the River Gum Cafe for lunch. What a beautiful setting in lovely gardens we had lunch in the lovely sunshine. Quite the perfect day temperature wise with around 28 degrees. Came back to camp for a read and a rest in the sun by the pool. Decided to have dinner at home tonight and watch the footy so got a pork roast. Roast was great and watching footy and Olympics.
