We walked the wall that surrounds the city, well part of the way, it was beautiful up amongst the tree top with pidgeons & squirrels but the lure of those shops called me & I had to do what comes naturally. I bought a nice red cap & a jacket for Lou. I can't buy for my kids anymore caus they don't like what I buy. Does anybody else have that problem? Anyway back to the shops. I amazed Bob when I found the coffee shop that we stumbled across in 1997, that was my radar working at it's best. I was so chuffed. It is called The Crypt & it's in the basement of the department store Browns of Chester (Debenhams). We couldn't get over it being built in 1174. Can't get my head around the history here. The cities main streets were full of black & White buildings with leadlight glass windows, carved timber balustrade, so beautiful only to make it better with a with a busker playing a flute. Amazing !

Jules Aren't you the clever one, it is great when we can amaze our husbands once in a while isn't it. Sounds lovely there. I can't but for our kids either, you are not alone there.
