Hello again
The days just seem to be slipping away with the temp being around 26deg. with light winds and clear skies. There was a free hour talk by a marine biologist at the camp one night which we found very informative and entertaining, as it was all about the reef, whales, sharks and all the other creatures. The neighbours planned to leave on Thursday so we had a night out with them on Wednesday watching the sun set into the Indian Ocean at the resort next door then along to Bills Bar and restaurant for a few wines and a superb meal. Most days we enjoy a nice walk along the beach for a few k/m and sometimes a snorkel too but so far have not been able to resist a visit to the yummy bakery for lunch. The wind came up today just the day I had booked a sea scooter ride around the reef. They are electric and tow you around covering up to 5 k/m around the reef, but as the sea turned choppy it was cancelled, b***** ! maybe another place will have them. As high winds are predicted for Saturday we booked in for another night here to save being blown all over the road on the way out which Steph does not like. Both of us do not want to leave this lovely place but as Broome, Darwin, Cairns and then down to Sydney & Melbourne is still a long long way to go it's time to move on. Steph has just been down to the shop so it's local fresh Prawns for dinner. Most of the families are leaving today then we are informed the Grey Nomads will move in, in droves to take their place. We leave on Sunday for Karratha which should take a couple of days to cover the 600 odd kms.

Marj MacKenzie Sounds like you are sure covering some ground. Chris you are a worry at times but am sure Stephanie will get you sorted. We have had some bumper frosts and not use to them. Poor Neil having to drive to work. Our new home is toasty so not a problem for me. Still have boxes needing sorted and the op shops have been visited frequently. We bought a large garden shed which my brother assembled along with some help from Duncan and Jimmy. Shoulder doing nicely and surgeon pleased with progress but wants me to have some physio but been a bit busy so will get onto it soon as it is sure getting plenty of exercise. They have started taking down the trees at the beach front so d*** next door reckons we should see the sea. Well will get on and do some more sorting. Enjoy your blogs. Cheers Marj
Sue Hi Guys, you sure are in the best place according to Janette and Dean they reckon they would go back anytime, they stayed on there for extra days as well. Have Fun.
