The coastline travelling further south is really fantastic with lots of lovely beaches often hidden away from the main highway. This is a photo of the view of where we camped at Clairview where the tide goes out for a couple of kms. When we were there it was a full moon and the tide dropped a whopping 6 metres!!!! It was a lovely spot with a rustic bar and bistro serving yummy local seafood. The locals were very friendly but unfortunately so were the mozzies. Hello Hello Next stop heading south was the town of Bowen which you need to turn off the highway to go to. We have bypassed the town on our two previous trips so decided to call in this time.
