Got up at 8am and and had breakfast before walking past the Grassalkovich Palace down to the main bus station where we caught the bus to Devin.

Walked form the bus stop to the castle and wandered the ruins including a climb to the top of the tower with the views across the Danube River into Austria. We also had a look through the small museum and poured a cup of water into the well to see how deep the well was from how long it took the water to reach the bottom.

Caught the bus back to Bratislava and walked past St.Martin's Cathedral, the remains of the city walls and Novy Most up to Bratislava Castle for great views over the Danube River and Bratislava.

Walked back to the old town for lunch before returning to the hotel for a rest. Began our walking tour around the old town starting at Michael Tower and walking down Michalska and Venturska to Hviezdoslavovo Square with the National Theatre.

Walked up to Hlavne Nam and then past the Jesuit Church to Frantiskanske Square and the Franciscan Church. Walked around to Primacialne Square and the Primate's Palace before returning to Hlavne Nam for a coffee.

Walked back to hotel, checked email and then went out for dinner. Ate at Little Caesars Pizza at Tescos, apalling food. Grabbed a McFlurry from McDonalds on our way back to the hotel where we packed for the train trip to Prague the next morning.
