Arrived by bus from Visegrad and walked from the bus station towards the centre town, stopping for lunch before walking up to the Esztergom Basilica. Basilica was huge and looked out of place in a town that was a little run down.

There were good views over the town, across the Danube to Slovakia and over the Watertown area below the Basilica. We walked back through the town to the train station, the walk took about 15 minutes and we then caught a new train back to Budapest Keleti Station.
