We are back to exactly where we started FOUR MONTHS AGO!!! Its feels a long time in ways but flown in others, regardless I can't believe we are at the end of our adventure with our Marv.

13,138 miles, 30 American states, 3 Canadian states, resulting in a whopping £1725.48 in gas, £0 paid on accommodation thanks to 100's of Walmart car parks, Nan and Granddads donated air miles and the kind hospitality of Christine and Pete, extremely thankful.

Learning so much along the whirl wind paths of our trip not even knowing how to operate a propane stove we have sussed many new tricks in the trade and come the end we are Bear Grylls budgeting masters...until it comes to a Walmart doughnut, NFL game or a sneaky night out in Vegas.

Needless to say we were both rather emotional saying our farewells to Marv but I guess he will be gearing up for his next adventure, with new people... :( Thank you Marv for keeping us both safe! Marv was returned home completely unscathed with only thanks to Pauls expertise driving, Thank you very much Paul for chauffeuring me pretty around the whole of America :) Listening to your singing for hours and hours through baron lands was still a pleasure.

Both excited for part 2 of the trip bearing vibrant architecture, historical ruins, hot burritos, wormy tequilas, extravagant moustaches (not mine, I mean the Mexican men), dodging corrupt taxi cabs and looking blankly at everything we are asked....bring on the chico land!!!
