So, hate saying it but Boston has been our first disappointment of the trip :( Putting it down to having rocket high expectations or just not being in the right places..unsure!
We had a lot of trouble parking Marv anywhere long enough to properly see things, I'm sure in different circumstances and a bit more money to play with our visit would have been different (Boston is not campervan friendly, which kind of figures). Having said it was still a very clean, very pretty city with plenty of history, attractions, quirky shops and high end restaurants. We visited Cambridge, Downtown Boston, The Waterfront and the well known original 'Cheers' cafe. The streets were full of ready to game chess players, artists, buskers and everywhere there were Harvard students; this place is expectedly set up for the uni campus. For us (and I'm sure we are in the minority on this on) there was something missing.
