The day has arrived! The big game... Being really excited we wake up at 7am to head to the stadium early to make a whooole day of it. We were way out by being any of the first there, the tail gate parties already in full swing. These are traditional pre game parties they have from their car boot. So, we have had a few days just making our way through Nevada, Palm Springs to get here in time for the game and to see a little of what San Diego has to offer. The drive pieced together with our Breaking Bad stops, sweaty cheese sandwich and Funyuns lunches and the odd Starbucks cup of tea and internet session. The barren landscape between small towns that our satnav guided us through- we agreed- was really eerie, there was something about it just a bit creepy....

Canyon number 3!! We were slightly concerned that we wouldn't appreciate the Grand Canyon now we have already seen three beforehand, but we were thankfully wrong.
