Across The Pond (BC and the Americas 2015)
About Us
So, after an extremely incredible fun-packed six and a half months-tomorrow we fly home!! We both hate it but excited all in one, extreme mixed emotions. After doing and seeing so many things most people would never get the chance too, it's all come to a sudden end and what better way to say 'cheers to the trip' than booking in to a locals …

Jody Will Smith came to mind for me too. Bet you were both giggling at some of the "sights" but beachside sounds fantastic x
re: Welcome to MiamiJody It shouldn't but the thought of you trying to look big and making noise makes me laugh Kim. Sounds like a great place x
re: Redwood National State Park :) Yes...more trees!Jody Brilliant! I can just imagine your faces picking this up. Bet Paul felt like a marvel character with his first mission haha. Well done Paul. Let the next part of the adventure begin x
re: MARVEL our home!Jody Doing your Bond bit there Paul? Haha
re: Paul pulling the babes on Copacabana BeachJody I love this one Sis. So many great photos x
re: The vibrant streets of RioJody An experience you'll never forget. Wonderful group photo to remind you of those you shared it with x
re: photo from 20 November 2015Jody Great photograph x
re: photo from 20 November 2015Jody Another fantastic visit and it looks so interesting. The photograph is perfect it looks mysterious, magical almost, beautiful yet imposing - the last place you would envisage finding sexy llamas and cooked Guinea pig x
re: Tasty guinea pigs and sexy llamas and the sanctuaryJody Haha sorry but that's funny (only because it was discovered so early mind). Can you imagine if it hadn't? I bet you had a fair share of knowing looks from your fellow passengers. How embarrassing. Oh and had completely forgotten about those cakes. Still look how accomplished you are now Kim (with this exception of course). You guys are amazing xx
re: Blind leading the blindJody I love this! What a unique viewing opportunity. I do hope Paul, that you also got a look at your surroundings as the photos show rather more cloud during your turn. You have both done so many wonderful things and some I could certainly never do (miss scaredy pants) but somehow I feel this would be an exception x
re: End Of The World swingl/m you really are a good writer and we lookm forward to your blogs.what some wonderful places you have seen and this is one place i would love to have seen.
re: Hopping the cobblestones of CuscoJody The big 30! What a way to spend your birthday Kim. Well done Paul on organising this incredibly special treat for my little sister it all looks wonderful. Missed you loads today but it was great to FaceTime you both even if I couldn't hear you much over Oliver celebrating your birthday with you haha xx
re: It's my birthday!!!!!!Jody Exciting! This is going to be one amazing experience although cannot believe it's come round so quick. It's great how you can both relax a little and take in the atmosphere of the city before the trip begins although sounds like there are plenty of essentials needed to organise too and I'm not on about the hot chocolate although might be a great bonus. Great photo. Slightly worried that if Grandad David still had sheep you'd be dressing lambs in little outfits this Spring xx
re: Hopping the cobblestones of CuscoKim I thought he would be a ghost but apparently it was E.T...?! Treats, no treats but we did go out for Halloween tea :)
re: Trick or Treat??!!Jody Brilliant timing on your visit here guys. What a wonderful tradition. Having looked at the photos it looks like everyone really enjoys it but like you say must be roasting with those costumes. Another unforgettable visit for you x
re: Sequins, fur and bells!
