We arrived Whangarei which is the northernmost city in New Zealand and the regional capital of Northland Region. We visited Whangarei Falls. the falls is 26m high and in the heart Whangarei. It was a beautiful little haven, an oasis.

We took the loop walk round the falls which allowed us to experience it both from its top and from its bottom.

Before we left we had a look at some huge limestone rocks. Which you can see in our photos.

With the sun setting, tired from our busy day and all the driving we headed home....
