Day 90, 10 Sept 2014, Fuengirola - Up and at 'em with the sunrise today, into the pool, out of the pool, last slice of bread in the house for toast, last teaspoon of coffee - What does that mean? Shopping Day! I "thought" I needed to go shopping a week ago. But I couldn't be bothered. Then I "thought" I needed to shop on Saturday - but I had a headache for 48 hours and decided against it. Then I went to Ronda on Tuesday - and as of Wednesday the cupboard was officially Mother Hubbard. I have discovered the hard way that I can officially carry €36. Much more than that is impossible. As it was today I dropped a bottle of bubbly mineral water on the road when I got of the bus. Of course the plastic cracked. So I double timed it home, whipped a lime out of the other shopping bag, snagged some mint and had a freshly muddled mojito with my fritata for lunch. When life hands you lemons, make lemonade or something to that effect. Today's "Only in Spain" pricing point of interest was massive, ripe peaches at 99 cents/kilo. This is put into even more crazy perspective when you find out that the least expensive apples (Gala) were €1/kilo. I feel like I'm in an alternate universe when peaches are less expensive than apples. In any event, thank heavens for grocery stores. I've maybe only got 2-3 weeks left here in Spain, so might not even have to do another shop. OK. Maybe just one!

James Hardie Hi Babe, When the victuals run out you have to go hunting, which I must say in Spain is an event in it self, so much fun and cheap, here peaches at harris farms are $14 a kilo hows that for a rip off thing is people are paying it, crazy. Love James
