Day 68 - Margaret River
It’s another wet day so we had a slower morning. In between showers we enjoyed looking at all the kangaroos and waiting for the joeys to poke their heads out. We were lucky enough to see a couple of them out of their pouches.
We then drove to the Margaret River Chocolate Factory and enjoyed sampling the chocolate and watching them make some too.
We then drove next door to the Providore to sample chocolate liquer and preserves.
We then stopped at the Margaret River Nougat Co to watch them make some nougat and then sample some wine and nougat.
We then drove back to town for a quick shop at coles and then we drove back to the caravan for lunch.
We then drove back to Boat Harbour in Augusta for the boys to go fishing again. This time they caught a squid and another fish which they aren’t sure what it was so they let it go.
We then drove to Surfers Point where they hold the Margaret River Pro (world surf league) and what a beautiful beach it is. It was so impressive driving in as you just see waves everywhere.
We then filled up the car and headed back to the caravan for dinner.
