Kununurra - Lake Argyle
We woke up at 5am this morning so we enjoyed watching the sunrise over Lake Kununurra. We packed up and then took Mum and Dad on a little trip around Kununurra. We took them to the Zebra Rock Gallery (the kids and papa enjoyed feeding the catfish again), Ivanhoe Crossing and Miriam National Park to see the mini bungle bungles.
We left Kununurra around 10am for the short 76km drive to Lake Argyle. As soon as we pulled up in Lake Argyle we spotted our German friends Theresa & Felix. It was very exciting seeing them again and we were lucky enough to get the campsite next to theirs with mum and dad being a few sites further down.
We had lunch and then went for a swim in the infinity pool. What a spectacular site, as you are enjoying the refreshing swim it drops off overlooking Lake Argyle. The kids had a great time playing with their grandparents, our german friends and their friends Nick & Jade.
Did some washing and the kids rode their bikes/scooters and Josh made a friend called Matt. We had another swim and watched the remains of the sunset and the kids loved the different coloured lights which lit up the pool.
We had lamb steaks with vege's for dinner and then enjoyed some drinks with mum and dad and then a catch up with our german friends.
When Josh was going to bed he couldn't find his Lindt Bunny (called peter rabbit). Rog and I looked everywhere and I thought it must have been in the car but then Rog remembered that Josh took his toys riding with him to Matt's place. We thought he must have left it at Matt's caravan and then Josh said that he dropped it. So Rog took Josh for a walk and sure enough Rog found it lying on the ground. Luckily Rog took him as I told him he would have to wait till the morning (poor Bunny might have been gone by then!).
