Lovely B&B (Burnett House). We have been really lucky in where we have stayed so far. In many cases we have been given the large family room. This one seems to have brand new carpets throughout and the shower was gorgeous and hot - just what is needed after a wet ride. We have had a wander round Dumfries. Chris has found the cycle shop-he has a habit of doing this. He has purchased a new cycling vest and some more cream for our tender parts!! (It really does work, but there again it should do at £17 a tube!!!) We have found a Costa Coffee and now we are in an award winning pub having a hearty meal and some non alcoholic lager.

Jack You made it I was a bit worried this afternoon whenI didn't see a blog. Real scotland at last. What was the border crossing like, were their passport control officers there?
Jack I see you did blog about the border but I hadn't seen it untill now sorry. Enjoy the food and the lager and let the cream do it's work.
