Day 17. Our night at Orwin House was very pleasant. The owners of the guesthouse have only been here a year and used to live in Littleborough. The room was really warm which was needed with the rain outside. Slept really well - massive bed. Setting off now to cycle round the northeast part of the island to the ferry. About 14 miles, then over onto the mainland and up to Lochgilphead.

A lovely meal in Arran on a Plate restaurant. Starters: haggis for Suzanne (again) and squid for Chris, then fish and chips for main course. Exotic non alcoholic cocktails to go with it! Delicious.
