Just arrived at the Old Rectory Hotel in Wem, just north of Shrewsbury. A great ride today. The first day we haven't had to get off and push the bikes up a hill!! Really enjoyed today - even with the rain. Our waterproof shoes work reallt well. We have had very toasty feet!! We have been extremely lucky so far we have travelled 404 miles and pnly had one hour of rain. The hotel is rather posh. All the rooms are named after the old rectors of Wem. We are in the Aldridge Room. Getting ready for our evening meal now.
