Day 19. Leaving The Corran. It was a lovely place to stay. Used to be a Doctor's Surgery. Forgot to say that yesterday we also saw deer. One was just grazing by the side of the road and a young one was in the field next to us and was playing at racing us as we cycled past. Off to Oban today. Should be 35 miles. At the moment it is fine. Fingers crossed for the rest of the day.

This is the view over the loch from our room. It is a very small town right at the head of the loch (hence the name of the place!) Today we have seen a seal sitting on a rock and an eagle. We have had a walk through Lochgilphead this evening and had a lovely curry.

Left Arran behind after getting the ferry. This dropped us at the top of Kintyre which we cycled across and then dropped down into Knapdale and we cycled along the side of Loch Fynne. Glorious sunshine. Then, as we began to cycle along the side of Loch Gilp, where the photo is taken showing Lochgilphead in the distance, the heavens opened. We only had 4 miles to go so we didn't bother with rain jackets. We arrived at The Corran, where we are staying, rather soggy...
