Well, i always knew that while i was away maybe not every single would be a happy one but i thought maybe it'd be when i was missing a family event or something like that - that i would maybe feel a bit sad or blue. Part of me is aware that in writing this entry i am sharing it with the people who read this site, but it is my travel journal and its all about my trip.

I never ever thought i would feel a bit blue because of a 'friends' actions. Unfortunately for me i have had to learn the hard way (as per usual for me) that sometimes people are not all they seem. Someone who i thought was a friend and a genuine person has from across the ocean hurt me. The damage is irrepairable and i don't ever want to be made to feel this way again. I have one less person in my circle of friends. Thankfully for me the ones who still surround me are amazing. i don't need to write anymore i don't think - when i look back and read this i will know what i am writing about. It saddens me a lot.

Also yesterday - not for any bad reason - i finished my job! As i am only staying til April Danny and Elaine had left the job advert in the coffee shop window and now someone else who is staying the whole summer (busy time) has enquired so they are going to take that person on. They were very good and apologetic about it - i guess they have a business to run - at least i was of some use for a week!!! It did mean that yesterday i could call my brother, which had previously been difficult due to time differences and him (and me for a bit!!) working. So i had a good chat with him - it was so nice to catch up - haven't spoken to him properly for ages. That really cheered me up! I love my brother he's the best. Always makes me see things in a better way without even realising he's doing it! Big nob 'ead!!

I also had chance to call Jim and Heather - it was so nice to speak to them, it wasn't the best line which is a little frustrating, but nice to catch up.

My brother has also got me some work for when i get to NZ which is great - im lloking forward to working in sport again and also i think i'll get to work with him too which will be great!

Today i have had a really nice day. The sun was shining and it really wasn't forecast, the weather has been lovely all day. Still very cold though. I went down to St Lawrence market to do some more canvassing for Selena's gig this morning and then this afternoon i worked at the hostel!!!! Doing a little bit of 'as and when' work - just making beds, cleaning, shopping.....

The internet isn't working at the hostel at the mo so Rachel has lent me her computer - bless her, if you have a laptop you can get free internet connection.

I have just been to a boxing class this evening too - it was a good class for me to do today!! I enjoy it and will try and go again next week. So im ready for a shower now and my bed. I hope never to have any days like the last 1 and a half ever again. Life - you live, you learn!

I love everyone as much as i always did - if not probably more now, i hope they all know that.
