Well after waking at 4.00am again and a leisurely walk with Reg and the dog, breakfast (like I needed after last nights half a sheep) Linda, Emma and I headed off in search of some new sailing gear for Emma. After checking out local shops in Newhaven and Brighton we ended up drink all the way to Southampton to Ardvark sailing and diving centre. When we got there there was a carpark opposite which belonged to The Old Ship Inn so of course seeing as it was already gone 1pm we thought it only right we have a pint and a bite of lunch. We decided on 2 rare roast beef sandwiches to share between the three of us. When they arrived at the table each sandwich WA about 2 inches thick and accompanied by chips and salad - more than we could eat again!
Once we had done our best with the lunch Emma was into some serous retail therapy! After 2 hours and 2 spray jackets, a wetsuit, gloves, sun visor and a knife it was time to hit the traffic back home. We finished up a successful day with a lovely light home cooked meal and an early night
