Another early start to the day (up at 4.15am) today we have to sort all the details for our upcoming road trip - first we have to sort through the nightmare of UK car insurance, then shop for some boots for the car ( I guess that will make a change from all the girl's shoe shopping). Well car tyres are much cheaper in UK than Australia only £130 for 2 fully fitted, however fuel is Not! Paid £1.369 per litre
Reg took us to the Yew Tree inn at Arlington apart from not booking a table and having to sit in the public bar to eat. The food is really good though vey dangerous to the waist line! I had half shoulder of lamb slow cooked and served with vegetables all I can say is it would have served at least two probably three people the meat was so tender and tasty the others all had dishes of equal quality and almost as big! A fitting end to another great day
