We woke up this morning to heavy rain and wind and when we looked out the window we saw snow and hail. But the weather soon changed and it was quite a sunny day but still very cold! We had delicious cheese and bread for breakfast at home and then did some speech therapy activities with Yahya. Calvin then prepared a delicious Asian lunch - kway teow tung. This was the first time Calvin had ever filleted and deboned a whole chicken, used raw bones for the soup stock and used the meat for wontons. Takes a bit longer than using stock cubes! Haven't had fish cake for ages! Calvin then helped to dig a hole in the ground for the family's permaculture garden and then it was time for lots of chatting, some more therapy and some delicious pineapple that we bought from the markets. It was leftovers for dinner - a range of foods including kway teow tung and vegetable bake and gow gee.
