Today is Sunday the 5th. We lost an hour overnight (summertime), so it's 9 hours earlier in Holland now (not really practical when you want to skype..). On Friday evening there was this party on the beach with hypes of foreigners. Thursday on the beach I met a French girl, Anaelle, and she invited me to come. I did (after I went to the mall to get a cheap sport outfit) and it was fun! There was a Japanese guy, Tommy, and he brought a guitar, so I had a blast. Saturday I passed by the surf school again and they don't have work for me.. yet… Within the next three weeks it will get really busy and they're definitely going to call me, so for now, I'm going to look for some other job. In the afternoon I went to a Pilates class and there I met Anne (a French woman) and Janey (an English woman, the Pilates instructor). Janey had an amazing house that she is going to give up in two weeks, because they're going to raise the rent. But for the next two weeks I was welcome to rent a room! I went over there after the Pilates and we watched a movie (atonement) and had a chat. She's really cool and today I moved in. And there's more…. She gave me a bike!!! (she didn't use it, it was someone else's that left it there) And… she gave me running shoes (she bought them to small). Lucky me!So for the next two weeks I'm fine where I am, cycling and running ;-) In town there's the Manly Jazz festival now and it's really nice to walk around, listening to the music. This morning I taught an Irish guy, Kenneth, how to surf. The wave are small now, but from Tuesday on they will get much better J Please let me know what's happening in Holland! xxx
