Ah well the last week or two has been crazy since I have gotten back...

Firstly we all had a big catch up on the Tuesday night...we had all been to many different places for the xmas break and it was exciting to hear everyones stories! It's a really different vibe at Alexander this semester, its not necessarily bad to last semester but just different! Its good having new people too, its exciting getting to know new people!

The Wednesday night we all went out to Buckheads, one of the clubs in Raleigh. It was a good night but many of us didnt make our 8.30am classes the next day! On Friday night Emily and I went to Otavios place, even though Otavio has gone home now, we still had a good night with his room mates! Funny night though...but good. :P

Classes are going well, its going to be a busy semester towards the end and classes arent as interesting as last semester but I will survive!!

There is a big rivalry between NC state and UNC in Chapel Hill which is about half an hour drive away. They are playing each other in basketball at the end of the month and since tickets are in such demand they have a campout for student tickets. so last night over 2000 students (including me and emily!) camped out on Lee Field in an attempt to get tickets for the game. Its a big tradition here at state. The only problem was it was about -11 degrees outside!!!! It was so cold so we were wearing so many clothes and had so many blankets in out tent! They are all these different rules you have to follow and you have to swipe your student id card at various points throughout the night to make sure you were still there and such. The one dining hall on campus right nea the field was open all night so we all sat in there for most of it drinking free hot chocolate! We were meant to be there until 7am but since it was so cold we were allowed to leave at 3am...we were happy to be back in our very warm dorm rooms!

its a long weekend this weekend so we are all relaxing before all the work starts!!
