Ross and Nina Uncut
Our last instalment from Sydney is a bit longer than the others because we didnt keep it up to date. Its much harder to do this when your working 10 hours a day.
We spent the last month or so seeing all the bits of Sydney that we haldnt managed to see. Including the Rocks which is the oldest part of Sydney and it has some nice pubs and shops as well as the contempory museum of art.
We also walked over the harbour bridge and went to the blue mountains which were spectacular. Nina got us free tickets for the powerhouse museum through work so we went there for the day. They had some strange exhibits on.
We went out on plenty of nights out with friends as well. We had a couple of flat warmings to go to. One was a Charades night and the other ended in Karoake at 5 in the morning. So they were a good laugh.
We also went to Kings cross a notorious area of Sydney but its fulll of backpackers pubs and hostels so it was a good night. Darling Harbour for the jazz festival to meet one of Katies friends and Ross' friends from work. Its was really relaxed and there were even some fireworks!
Lastly we went to the rocks for a night out and ended up in one of the more famous clubs in Sydney called 'the establishment'. Bit classy for us scummy backpackers though.
Sure that we've missed some stuff that we did but i cant remember them? We both really enjoyed Sydney and made some good freinds here in the process. Both our jobs worked out well for us and although they wont be careers for us we met great people and had fun doing them.
Think we'll both want to come back to Sydney at some point!
