Another week in Sydney and lots to tell you about what we have been up to. Met friends, been out as usual and even fitted in some sightseeing! Weekend started with some good news as Nina managed to get a job working in a sandwich place. It pays well and Ross is loving all the free sandwiches even though he does get the mickey taken out of him in work for having salmon and creme cheese sandwiches for work! So now that both of us are earning we went out Friday night for a few drinks with Ross' uni mate. Was a good night at a scottish theme bar but not many scots apart from us were in there. Spent the Saturday doing the shopping and washing for the week. This whole living away from home thing has quite a few draw backs! On the Sunday we did some sight seeing and went to the Sydney opera house and darling harbour before going to a St Patricks day celebration in Hyde Park. You wouldnt believe how many irish there are in Sydney! On the Monday another freind from back home arrived so we are putting her up for a couple of weeks until they move on to Melbourne. We all went out on Thursday for St Patricks day which was a great laugh. Amazingly Nina made it to work after only 2 hours sleep and i was just glad i work on flexitime so i got a couple more hours in bed before i had to leave. Got a few things planned for the weekend so we will tell you all about it next week. Hope everything is good with everyone back home.
