Well, after so long in Sydney we decided to take a break from the city and go to Wollongong for the weekend to stay with some friends that we met in Africa. It was a really nice place and we had a great time getting shown around the sites. We went down on friday night and actually managed to keep ourselves awake long enough to go out for dinner and drinks and even made it out to a club after! Doesn't sound like much but when you get up at 5am its a pretty long day. It was definately worth it though and we had a great night and it made our long lie in the morning even better! We sent saturday visiting the beach which was really nice apart from the huge steel works that kinda spoils the view a bit. The weather was georgous though and it was great to still be able to lie on the beach and go for a swim at the end of autumn. We also went to a look out point that you can see the whole of Wollongong from and even managed to see where Phil's house was, eventually!! We had a lazy day on sunday just taking it easy and going for a drive before we headed home for an early night to make up for our late ones over the weekend! I was lucky enough to get a day off on Monday for Anzac day but unfortunately Ross had to work in the morning but he had an early finish and we headed to the pub to join in the Anzac day celebrations. It seems to be any excuse for a drink and a gamble over here. All in all a really good weekend and a quiet week after to recover!!
