Well, we finally finished working and said goodbye to Sydney!! Was pretty strange getting packed up again but its been good visiting new places again. Our first stop At Newcastle was only a couple of hours away from Sydney but it was far enough for our first couple of nights. Our main reason for stopping here was the tours that they run to the hunter valley winerys and it was definately worth the journey. We headed off at 9 in the moring and tour around 5 different winerys as well as a chesse factory and a chocolate shop. Thw winerys where all really nice and we got to taste loads of different wines. Other than the wine tours there wasn't really much to do around newcastle considering its the second biggest city in New South Wales after Sydney! We wandered around the harbour and the beach and took a stroll up to the lighthouse and treid out a couple of the local pubs which was nice. The second leg of the State of Origin was playing while we we're there so we settled down infront of a big screan and enjoyed the match.
