Sunday 19th August We left Carnarvon and headed for Point Samson which meant staying at various free camps along the way. We can't get over how much caravan parks have increased their prices the price to stay at the caravan park at Point Samson was $49 per night, The winds were very strong for most of the time. We thought we might treat ourselves to fish and chips on our first night $25 for three small pieces of fish and some chips (we only dined there once)....

We stayed at Fitzroy Crossing for three nights and went for a cruise through the Geike Gorge, very pretty.
