Well, we arrived here today as the first major stop in our trip. Spent Sunday night in Fremont, Indiana. Drove today through Indiana and points west, even passing the RV and MH Hall of fame! Who knew?
Continued through Chicago and Illinois before entering Wisconsin. Spending tonight and tomorrow night here in La Crosse, which is located where the Black River meets with the Mississippi, right on the border of Minnesota.
Checked into our hotel, and decided to explore the area. There is a beautiful friendship garden right by our hotel, and a lovely river walk, which lead us to an awesome rooftop bar! We were able to watch a Viking River cruise boat leave its docking, and continue back down the river. Had some delicious drinks, and headed to Four Sisters Wine Bar for tapas and wine.
There we had delicious meals, that were more than enough for our lunch tomorrow!
Now it is off to bed, hoping for some trail walking and a river cruise tomorrow!
