We got lucky and woke to pretty nice weather this morning. Enjoyed relaxing on the terrace with our breakfast this morning. Have been doing a lot of sight seeing, so it was nice to just take our time and take it slow this morning. Besides, the view is pretty awesome!
Just enjoying reading my book on this fantastic terrace, but Larry decided to go and play golf since it appeared the rain was holding off. Away he went, as I continued to enjoy my time.
Decided to take a break and go for a walk on the beach. Got down to the ocean which is pretty rough today due to the impending storm. The red flags were out, and a plane with a banner to stay on the shore kept flying by. A few people were playing in the waves close to the shore, but did see two guys pretty far out.
Continued walking enjoying the surf and sand as I made my way to the one pier. Ran across a lady holding the funniest dog. A Chinese crested with sunglasses and a tee shirt. Hysterical! She said he was a rescue, boy did he have attitude ( chilled that is).
Walked back to the condo, passing a wedding on the beach! Wind was picking up a little by the time I made it back, but still no rain, and a little sunshine.
Spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing on the terrace with my wine, chocolate, and a good book. Perfect!
Decided to return next door for dinner, as the wind is picking up, and we're not sure when the rain may hit. Tomorrow brings the long trek to Edisto Island, South Carolina.
