Bangkok-Part 1

Day 62- KO Phangan to Bangkok.

After breakfast and paying off our 11 day tab, we said goodbye to Becky and Ellie, and got a Taxi to the pier to get our boat to Surithani and coach to Bangkok. I look and feel like a skank, Rog is reading on the boat, he's going to feel so sick. We are really pleased to be leaving Haad Gruad Resort; we are all beached out.
The boat journey was long, but the coach journey to Bangkok wasn't as painful as we thought it would be. We arrived in Bangkok two hours early at 3am- not that helpful for the first time in the city. After checking out several places we found Rainbow guesthouse, yaaaayyyy!

Day 63

After a horrible nights sleep for Roger, we woke up early and started exploring Bangkok. Fortunately we stumbled across a cheap and comfortable guesthouse around the corner, called My House. In the afternoon we went to Kao San Road, which is host to a massive market. I bought some new shorts, which are really nice and Emma bought 2 tops and some trousers. We had some street food yay - how I've missed it! Plus, some freshly squeezed orange juice - lush. Had dinner at our hotel and watched the end of the proposal and most of Slum Dog Millionaire.
