Day 17, 18 & 19 Taxi-train, train-taxi, train, tuk tuk GOA-PALOLEM!!! Yay at last! After three days of travel to get to Goa we eventually arrived, very tired, but excited! Our journey down here was an adventurous one. Our train to Mumbai we sat in CC class which turned out to be pretty damn good, with reclining chairs! Brilliant! Day 15 Took a taxi to the bus station. Our first experience on a bus oh my God! It actually turned out to be really good, despite the irratic and dangerous bus driving, i slept the whole way. Rog met a man called Oliver from Germany, very chatty, and gave Rog some of his street food which made him very happy- surprise!! Day 14 After an early morning train to Jodhpur and a quick nap at the Hotel, after they eventuallt answered the gate at 3am, we made our way into town. Day 11 Our train was delayed by two hours and once we had arrived in Jaisalmer, yet again our taxi wasn't there to pick us up. We caught an Auto-Ricksahw to our hotel. The owners of the hotel seemed quite friendly but it's bit skanky. We went for a wonder around town, which is situated inside the Fort. It's definitely the nicest place we've been so far. Day 9 Staying in a lovely guest house, with a nice courtyard, which we're very happy about. Went on a city tour, with yt another man called Raj who was very enthusiastic. He took us to the Amber Fort where we had our Elephant ride up to the Fort Gates. We didn't enjoy the ride too much because the driver kept hitting the Elephant on the head with an iron stick.
