Hey guys, We eventually left Cairns and arrived at Mission Beach around 3pm we booked Scotty's beach House a samll Hostel just off the beach. On first view it didn't look fantastic but once checked in and a few beers opened we were lazing in the hammocks next to the swimming pool in lovely weather. On the way down we stop in a small place called Innisfail and picked up 5 people.......the funny thing was 1 of the girls Helen who Ria works with in Asda was on the bus stop with her friends and staying at exactly same place as us!!! Small World considering she's been away a year!!

So there ended up 8 of us drinking and lounging around the hammocks and swimming pool!! We later went out to the only local bar which was pretty dead but we made a laugh of it and played killer (pool) and a few drinking games before jumping in the swimming pool fully clothed!!

The next morning started off where it finished with the first beer being opened around 11.30am. There's not much to do in Mission Beach unless you have the money for skydiving......we had a look at the beach which was gorgeous but as it's stinger season we couldn't swim so we spent the day at the hostel having a good laugh. There was me & Ria, Gavin who came with us from Cairns a Londoner real good guy and then the 5 people we had met on the bus stop Helen & Zak who had been travelling with Sarah Todd (Ria enjoyed a few Jagerbombs with Helen...got a little bit messy) and Ed,Pete & Pat from Cumbria...I've gotta say Pat is one of the funniest people I've ever met they were all a good laugh!! We drank through the afternoon and chipped in $5 and had a awesome BBQ before watching Con Air in the TV room it was really chilled out.

In the morning we packed up and left for Magnetic Island a small Island just off Townsville about a 5 hour journey on the Greyhound. Speak to you all soon love Ben & Riaxx
