Yes, you guessed it - Im back in Sydney! Minus the sun and hot weather! Its overcast with a slight chill in the air today - enough for me to be wearing a jumper!

I sat on the beach yesterday afternoon and read some more of my book - I think Im addicted to reading now! Probably a good thing rather than the films and tv!

The bus journey - well... Long, boring, uncomfortable and uneventful! We left Byron Bay at 9pm, we had a right miserable bus driver, so rude as well. I got on board, sat down and though that it was all I needed - a rude driver! There was a man sitting infront of me with a little girl, cant have been more than a year old. She lsept most of the way and when we stopped off for a break in the night, he asked if Id mind watching her whilst he went for a cigarette, I didnt mind because I didnt get off. It was about 4am and the little girl woke me up crying and I couldnt see the guy anywhere, I had to pick her up and rock her back to sleep - I honestly thought that maybe the bus driver had left the last stop and the guy hadnt got on board! Luckily the girl behind me looked for him and found him asleep on an empty seat at the front of the bus! Charming!

The bus pulled into Sydney Central station at 10am this morning, earlier than expexted, but still a long drive again. I cant meet up with Ciaran until 6pm tonight so I had to leave my backpack and shopping bag with the bus terminal in stoprage for the day. My knees are really bad today - need to get them checked out properly when I finally get home I think. It hurts to walk and its even more painful to walk up stairs!

I sat in a cafe for three hours reading my book - which Ive finally finished. I need to find another one somewhere - I 'borrowed' this one from the last hostel I was at in Byron Bay! Oops!

I haver to wait another hour to get the train to meet Ciaran. Planning on having a nice shower / bath and an early night - Im shattered!
