Falling down the toilet on the bus - TAKE TWO...!

Yes, it happened AGAIN! I thought Id give the toilet a second chance, because I was on a fourteen hour bus trip from Byron Bay to Sydney last night. What are the chances of it happeneing again?! I couldnt believe it, although I must admit that I did laugh when I was down the hole!

I can honestly say, that I would rather have a 24 hour flight to Australia than do a night bus for fourteen hours again! They are kind of freaky - it reminds me of a scary American film - you know where the bus breaks down in the dessert and everyone on the bus gets killed?! Well, those were the thoughts that were running through my head when I got on the bus at Byron. I even charged my phone up fully incase it did happen and I had to make an emergency call (again - the girl in the movie always has a dead phone when she tries to make a call!) Maybe I thought about this bus journey a little bit too much hey?!

So, I got into Sydney an hour ago. The sun is shining, it is so warm here! I cant remember the last time I actually saw the sun. Its safe to say that I am back to my natural colour, of white! So, I need to get topped up before I fly to New Zealand this week - its freezing out there now!

Im meeting up with Adam this afternoon, so that we can sit down together and sort out a route to take in New Zealand. I think the most we know is that we want to do the South Island because there is more to do - we are going to walk through the glaciers at Franz Josef! How exciting!

Im back at Maze Backpackers now, where I stayed when I first got to Sydney. Im waiting for my room, its not ready for another 4 hours. Im going for a walk now, along the harbour so see the bridge and opera house again (Im sure it hasnt changed since the last time I saw it!)
