It is such a big island and lovely, we would ideally like to circumnavigate it as well as hire a car to explore the interior. For now, it is practicalities and planning an excursion to Istanbul. Northward Island Hopping 30th May A quickie to put a point on the map. We left Rhodes and have started island hopping northwards. Colossal Rhodes 18th -23rd May This is a bit long so apologies in advance! Also loads of pics. We had 2 stops on the little island of Symi, one in Panormitis Bay where there is a large Monastery noted for the miracles occurring there over the years. Roast Goat & Bloomers Khalki, 15th May 2015 Several sporty sails later and we are on Khalki (or Chalki or Halki) about 30nm off of Rhodes. We had a quick overnighter on Nisyros after a thunder and lightning trip from Kalymnos.
