The day started off well as we left Home Valley Station via the bush camping area which gave us one of the best views to date. We were looking across the Pentecost River towards the Cockburn ranges and could see crocodiles on the river bank. We thought it would be a quick drive today but nothing is quick about this road. On the way out of El Questro we stopped at Zebedee Springs. These are thermal pools that are naturally heated by the earths core to around 32 degrees. We loved it! We frolicked around in the warm crystal clear water for about 2 hours. Then we set off for Emma Gorge. It is an hour hike up to the gorge and the cliff faces are unbelievably beautiful.
