This weather is amazing, 28 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. Sara cooked a beautiful breakfast and then we all caught the ferry over to Rottnest Island as this was the main thing we wanted to do in Perth. Geoff got up early and went jigging for squid off the Denham jetty but again no luck. We hit the road for a long drive today (Denham to Jurien Bay 643kms) only stopping for toilet and lunch breaks and to see the wind blown trees in Geraldton. We keep hoping the kids will have a sleep in the car but it hasn't happened yet. Benjie was well prepared if it did he didn't want to take his pyjamas off today so he wore them all day.
