Geoff jumped out of bed in time for sunrise and went down to the beach to take some photos of this beautiful spot.
We thought we would try something different and spend a night in a house in an Aboriginal community. So we called ahead and booked into a community called Lombadina. We are paying $200 for a pink fibro shack in a community of 70 or so aboriginal people. There is a general store, a clinic, a school, a bakery and a church and not a lot else. We are not quite sure exactly what goes on here. It is situated on a nice beach where we did a bit of 4WD'ing this afternoon. We were going to have a swim but someone mentioned they had seen a croc close by yesterday so we decided to skip it. It feels a bit strange being in a house (shack) rather than our camper but on the plus side it is nice to have our very own bathroom!
