We set off this morning to do the walks in the northern part of the park. We did 2 walks, Echidna Chasm and Mini Palms. The kids are doing "ok" with the walking. Although when it is baking hot in the middle of the day there is understandably a degree of whinging. Remarkably the whinging disappears when we find other kids to walk with. We travelled down to the Bungle Bungle National Park (Purnululu) which is around 5 hours from Kununurra. The last 2 hours are on a very corrugated road. No caravans allowed and some people choose to leave their camper trailers behind - so not many grey nomads down here. We persevered with ours and made it ok.
