We travelled down to the Bungle Bungle National Park (Purnululu) which is around 5 hours from Kununurra. The last 2 hours are on a very corrugated road. No caravans allowed and some people choose to leave their camper trailers behind - so not many grey nomads down here. We persevered with ours and made it ok. There were 7 river crossings which Cecil handled beautifully. We arrived in time for yet another gorgeous sunset which we took full advantage of by taking drinks and nibbles up to a nearby lookout. We are camping next to a family that we met yesterday on the Lake Argyle cruise. They have a 10 year old, Tilly, who our kids have befriended so we spent an easy night around the campfire with our new friends!
