Barden's Great Aussie Adventure 2015
We went exploring the local area today starting with the Hill Top Rd lookout giving nice views over the region.
Then we did an 800m loop walk to see the Giant Tingle Tree. This giant red tingle tree is over 300 years old and has a girth of 24m. It was really impressive.
We then did the Valley of the Giants Skywalk which was 600m long and 40m above the ground at its highest point. The walkways swayed as we walked across them. I didn't think this was that good...definitely not worth the $19 each we had to pay to do it.
The day picked up again when we went to Conspicuous Cliffs. And finally we had nice sunny warm weather to enjoy it! We were the only ones on Conspicuous Beach and the boys had a great time playing in the freshwater spring leading into the ocean.
This afternoon though we are stuck inside because of nearby back burning which has ash dropping everywhere.
