Barden's Great Aussie Adventure 2015
Today we finally have some great weather again. We head to the Busselton jetty...the longest wood piled jetty in the southern hemisphere at 1.8km. It was built in the 1800's and closed as a port in 1973. On the walk up we saw some baby seagulls which was incredible as we have never seen them before. There are fees to both walk and catch the train up but what they don’t advertise is that you can by a half ticket by walking up the jetty and purchasing a ticket at the far end to catch the train back. It is a gamble though as there is a possibility there will be no seats available and you will have to walk back. We were lucky enough to get the last few seats. We then spent the afternoon in the indoor pool and spa once again.
