A little drive through the end of the Sierra Nevada to Lake Isabella turned out worth while. On route to the camping ground there was some amazing scenery. It was hilarious to see all the RV's at the waters edge they looked just like animals at a watering hole.

The camping ground itself was a treat from the lovely girl in the office who didn't know what wifi was to the truly cowboy pub attached where the owner was propped at the bar.

We have finally found some sun although in the morning when I turned the tap on nothing came out and Jim went outside to find our water hose had completely frozen. I haven't been using our shower and the camping ground washrooms were coed, when I walked in the door slammed behind me and a man yelled and then said you scared me, well he scared me more and I hightailed it back to the van and decided showers were overrated.
