Stayed the night in Jackson as we were going up the Natchez Trace Parkway. This is an old indian trial that runs from Natchez to Nashville. We went from Natchez to Tupelo (Elvis's birthplace) and then cut off to Memphis.

A gorgeous stretch of road where the speed limit is 50mph (poor jim). Along the way we stopped and walked around Cypress Swamp. Didn't see any alligators this time but seeing as we were on foot maybe this is a good thing.
