So day two has come and gone and what a place to be in. Slightly more successful today in that there was some breakfast in the hostle even if there was only soya milk left :( But i didnt care, i had managed to eat something and on my way to my final day of classroom and pool work. After 3 moer hours in a very bracing swimming pool, even with wetsuit on and our skills training was complete untill we hit the big pond!
However after lunch got to look forward to some more revision and learning and then the test! We were all very nearly falling asleep through tiredness and i guess boredom of being stuck in a room with no natural light. However we somehow managed to plow thruogh that and got to the berak before the test.
The test is about almost everything to do with diving and everything we had learnt over 2days solid teaching/ learning! Nerves were kicking in as of course if you fail, all the money goes to waste. So 50 questions sat infront of us, 40mins on the clock. Steady start mind going blank a few times and trying to work it around putting a few educated guesses from what i could remember having answered similar questions yesterday. Then onto the tricky stuff! having to use 3 different charts to work out safe times to do consecutive dives to different depths, quite a tricky concept to overcome! However it appears i have :)
As with all the other little quizzes we'd done i finished 1st and nervously handed it in after just checking my maths on some of the more complex ones, couldnt find any problems. When you stand there and he marks, it seems to take forever however he returned the test paper 50/50 WOOOOO 100% I turned out to be the only one to get that for the day althuogh everyone else did pass which was cool :)
So it really sunk in then, my reward for doing my homework going past mdinight payed off! and my treat.... spending 2 days on what seems to be proper luxury boat on the reef to do 5 more dives :) 4 are still kind of training based althuogh training is at times merely prooving you can swim so will be amazing, then a dive when im free to do whatever i want ;)
