So coming out of the airport there are phones to call your Hostle for free pick-up, i found my accomodation and phoned them up, all ran smoothly. I arrived at the Hostel as a quick glance it looked quite 'chavy' very much like a malia resort or something, the recption then told me i had gone to the right company but wrong hostel, they arranged for me to go to the correct hostel.
So with other people in the van getting lifts to town, the van stopped over looking the sea and said right this is it, i assumed he meant the people for town but know he meant both. My hostel has only a road inbetween it and the sea.... unfortunatly the beach looks really manky but there is a man made lagoon right next to it which seems a very popular place! i have yet to try it though. Also as you may have gathered it is very close to town which is also kl!
i like that there are ppl around here atm, but i havnt done much more than said hi to ppl so still feel very much alone! im sure over next 2 days with the ppl things will change but getting used to this kind of hostel is strange, ppl seem to know each other and be on the end of their trips just as im starting! although it is def useful to get points of where to go and not to go!
I am in a room of 8 people although i believe there are only 7 in at the moment, first guy to meet was a dude from Birmingham, he seems ok! Then a guy and girl from Israel again both seem nice enough although was a very brief hello and then a girl from Finland! i have yet to meet the final two people! but im sure i will soon enough! its very basic, 4 double bunks, 1 toilet, 1 sink and 1 shower, shower seems nice enough although shower only cold works and the tap only hot works, which is equally annoying! lol
